• Little Orange Door cocktail bar to open in Clapham Common

  Clapham Common is about to be the latest in a string of slightly eccentric, ‘fictitious-flatshare’- inspired cocktail bars from The Little Door Co. The aim is to feel like you’ve wandered into someone’s home: to embrace the house-party vibe, try some experimental cocktails, perhaps ad-lib some poetry, and wind up as a regular with a set of keys and your own personalised mug.

• Harrods Brasserie is the Knightsbridge store's new all day family restaurant

  Harrods have kicked their men's shoe department upstairs, creating a large space for their newest offering, an all day restaurant that'll be great for the kids too.

• The Clarence Tavern to reopen in Stoke Newington from the people behind The Anchor & Hope and The Canton Arms

  The people behind the Anchor and Hope are taking over classic Stoke Newington pub, The Clarence Tavern. Food will be as important as the booze and they're bringing an ex Great Queen Street chef to head up the kitchen. 

• Yolk Breaker is back, with a new shop in Camden's Buck Street Market

  Joining the other traders at new eco-space Buck Market on Camden High Street is Yolk Breaker, serving up all manner of eggy delights in a bun.

• Vegan grab-and-go outlet, Good to Go, is opening a second site in London

  There’s no disputing the popularity of veganism in London, so it’s hardly surprising that Good to Go, which started life as a-based pop-up in Old Street Station in 2017 soon launched a nearby permanent site and is now opening a second, this time in Charing Cross Road, with an increased focus on its takeaway options.

• Latin American restaurant Cha Cha to open a Notting Hill outlet (inc a vintage clothing store)

  Latin American bar and restaurant Cha Cha, which has outlets in Maida Vale and Mayfair is now bringing its concept to Notting Hill, but with a twist. They’ve paired up with vintage clothing store Sister Jane to entice diners to a multi-level, multi-experiential retail concept on the corner of Golborne Road. Apart from the shopping and ground-floor dining, there’s also a rooftop cocktail bar as well
