This new Notting hill restaurant from a Middle East restaurateur is something of a mash-up between Mexican and Japanese cuisines with plenty of added mezcal and tequila.
- The Connaught unveils a brand new Patisserie (with a River Cafe dessert)
While you may not be able to have a martini at the Connaught Bar after 10pm, the hotel has just unveiled something new for the daytime - a brand new patisserie. It's on the side of the building on Mount Street with its own entrance, meaning you can pop in and pick up Connaught cakes and patisseries all day long.

The team behind Chiswick deli and pizzeria, The Italians, are preparing for a Marylebone opening this winter. The Italians' new home on Devonshire Street will be a wine bar and bistro.

Over the past two years, Hide's 'diffusion range' - a cafe called Hideaway - has been popping up in various locations - first in the Burlington Arcade and then, for a longer period, down at Chelsea Barracks.
