• Northfield Farm butchery launch an alfresco supper club at Borough Market

  

  Over at Borough Market, there's a new kid on the (butchers) block, when it comes to evening dining. Northfield Farm butchery have moved into the restaurant business, by opening an evening alfresco supperclub. Chef Joe Albina, who trained under Pierre Koffmann and who would normally be head chef at The Blueprint Cafe if that were open, is going to be serving up a carnivore's delight of a menu.

• Turnips transforms into a veg-led supper club in Borough Market

• Ex-River Cafe chef Shuli Wimer launches The Fancy Fork at Farmer J in the City

  

  A City restaurant has brought in an exciting new chef to charge up its evening offering. By day Farmer J serves up breakfasts and 'field trays' for lunch to City workers beside Monument. By evening it'll now turn into The Fancy Fork - with chef Shuli Wimer running the kitchen.

• Sustainable restaurant CUB goes alfresco for a summer supperclub series

  If there ever were a pop-up event we would urge you to book it's the upcoming one-day superclub from Lee Skeet. Skeet, the former Head Chef at Hedone, who trained under Gordon Ramsay, Marcus Wareing and Tom Aikens, is only just returning to the pass after a horrific accident. • A Holloway supperclub with ambition: we Test Drive Croft Kitchen

  It's been far too long since we went to a London supperclub, so having written about the arrival of Croft Kitchen in Holloway a few weeks ago, we decided to rectify that. There were a few reasons why. First it was incredibly local, which is always a plus point (but that said it's barely a 5 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station - so pretty easy for transport).
