• Shake Shack is opening at Canary Wharf's Canada Square

  

  Canary Wharf workers looking to up their burger intake should be pleased to learn that Shake Shack are moving into the area. Thanks to an eagle-eyed Hot Dinners reader who spotted the signage above, it's clear the US burger chain has taken over the spot once occupied by Canteen.

  We've no news on exactly when they're planning to open, but we'll keep you posted and update this when we learn more.

• Doubletree opens a new riverside restaurant Columbia

  

  There's been a big multi-million-pound revamp at the Doubletree by Hilton over in Docklands (just opposite Canary Wharf, across the river - they have a river shuttle) and they're about to launch a new restaurant as part of it. • Roti Chai opens Chai Ki Toddy Shop in Crossrail Place at Canary Wharf

  

  Always popular in its original off-Oxford-Street location and the odd pop-up, Roti Chai have now quietly opened their next restaurant all the way over in Canary Wharf - the latest to be part of the new Crossrail Place centre.
