    Dalston Junction is becoming quite the oenophiles dream destination with the addition of yet another interesting-sounding wine bar. Joining the likes of Weino Bib and Newcomer Wines is dan's, a self-styled "free-flowing wine bar and shop".

    The man behind it is Dan Long from the online natural wine merchant Natty Boy Wines. But the bar is actually named after the Australian booze merchant Dan Murphy's.

    We were sad to see the back of Corazon, Soho's popular taco spot which failed to make it out of lockdown. Now there's news of what's going to take its place. It'll be a new restaurant from the team behind St Petersburg's Wong Kar Wine. Madina Kazhimova and Anna Dolgushina are the brains behind the operation which opened in St Petersburg back in 2014.

  • Wolfox cafe and wine bar eyes up the old Savoy Taylors Guild on the Strand

    It's been home to a tailors since the early 20th century and its distinctive frontage on the Strand is Grade II listed, but next year the historic Savoy Taylors Guild is going to switch from cutting cloth to serving food.

    The site's been taken over by Wolfox a coffee and restaurant group with places in Brighton and Leeds. Here at their first London opening they're planning a "high end cafe and wine bar".
