- Here's what's opening in the big revamp of Olympia
Big changes are afoot at Olympia. Long known as a place for huge events in Central London (it's been around for 140 years), it's now in the process of getting a £1.3bn overhaul. As with lots of these big projects, that means there will be many new bars and restaurants to come.

A somewhat quiet opening in Hackney earlier this month is already starting to get a lot of positive reactions. Miga bills itself as a "modern Korean kitchen" and it's a family affair coming from two brothers and their chef father. Originally starting in New Malden, their mother currently has a takeaway in Morden while their father runs the kitchen at this restaurant in Hackney.

Lucky Islington residents are about to get a new coffee shop, wine bar and restaurant and an ice cream parlour, all in the space of a month or so. The three businesses by co-founders Alex Young and George de Vos are taking over the old Michael's Den pub on the borders of Islington and De Beauvoir.
