Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr Lyan) is one of the busiest personalities in the London bar scene and we’re constantly impressed by the innovative and thoughtful approach he brings to drinks and cocktails. Forget dry January, this is the sort of news we like. The Lobby Bar in Covent Garden's One Aldwych hotel has launched something we can really approve of - a specially-made Old Fashioned drinks trolley. Wheeled around the bar, it has three types on offer:
- Bourbon Old-Fashioned (“One-Fashioned”): macerated morello cherry & spice syrup with Angostura bitters
- Tequila Old-Fashioned: kaffir lime leaf
- Personalised cocktails with a twist at new Bletchley Park-themed bar from the naked restaurant team
Naked restaurant The Bunyadi was never going to be an easy act to follow, but the team behind that are giving it a go with a WW2-themed cocktail bar where you decode your own personality to work out your true cocktail colours, inspired by Bletchley Park.
