You've got to hand it to Soho pub The Sun & 13 Cantons, they really know how to pick their pop-ups. Following hard on the heels of Sambal Shiok and Adam Rawson's residency, the next folk in charge will be CLAW.

... - Bonnie Gull to open up their second seafood shack in Soho
If you like your seafood a bit more interesting than your bog standard cod and chips, then you may have come across the Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack, who’ve been enjoying a rather popular five years at their Fitzrovia home. Now they’ll be bringing their ‘Squid Toast’ with ink aioli and ember-cooked mussels to a new, second branch in Soho.

... - The London Shell Co are opening a floating restaurant at Paddington
If you've been to any of London Shell's pop-ups, you'll know that it's good news that this enthusiastic bunch of foodies have signed a deal to open a permanent restaurant in London. However, it's not bricks and mortar - more wood and steel. They'll be launching a floating restaurant on the Regent’s Canal at Paddington with dinner either moored up or on the move.
As you might expect from such a watery location, the menu focuses on seasonal seafood.
... - Smith & Wollensky launch a massive seafood feast for summer
Feast your eyes - and your stomachs! This stonking looking shellfish platter is a new summer special hitting Smith & Wollensky on Friday. The treat for two includes lobster, crabmeat, jumbo shrimp, oysters and Amandes clams with a classic cocktail sauce, cognac mustard sauce, ginger sauce and sherry mignonette. And it comes with a bottle of Provencal rose from Château de l’Aumérade. Seems a good enough reason to slope off early this Friday, or have a lovely long

... - CLAW launch winter weekend brunch residency at Fish Market
We've been hearing nice things about popular street food CLAW, so hearing that it's coming indoors for the winter with a residency in the City is good news. Dishes you can expect include Crab Burger with handpicked Devonshire crab, samphire and claw sauce and a Lobster BLT made with

This rather fine looking shellfish dish is the crab burger from Claw. And if just gazing at that photo makes you fancy it half as much as we do right now, you'll be wanting to know that the streetfood folk behind it have just taken residency at The Three Compasses in Dalston.
From this week until the end of January they'll be serving up a mainly crab-based menu with all their crab coming from Start Bay in Devon.

Updated 5/9/15 with extended opening details
Kensington Place has recently had a bit of a refurb and now they're adding something new - a pop up chippy. The food, as befits its location, is certainly more upmarket than most fish and chip shops.

The spate of openings at Broadgate Circle continues with the next restaurant being Crab Tavern. This is being billed as an all-day seafood restaurant and bar with a distinct NYC focus for the menu. Given the name, there's no prizes for
... - Hawksmoor Guildhall gets a bit fishy
Ever since opening Air Street, which successfully brought fish to Hawksmoor menus in collaboration with Mitch Tonks, the rest of the Hawksmoors have been showing some fishy influences.
