It's going to be a long term, six-month residency Emile - run by Damian Clisby ex Restaurant Director of Petersham Nurseries, and Nick Gibson, landlord of the Drapers Arms.

  There’s a bit of a shake up happening at Spelzini, the Italian cafe within the Forge and Co co-working space on Shoreditch High Street. During the day it is to remain Spelzini, offering, sandwiches, salads, and coffee, but from September 26 onwards it will now be known as Luigi’s Bar in the evenings.

  What's the most popular restaurant in London? Or indeed the UK? We'd be hard pressed not to give that plaudit to Nando's which has a legion of fans (and yes, we've been known to pop in from time to time too). Those fans will be very pleased to hear about the Nando's summer pop-up coming to Shoreditch in August.

• The Green Vic in Shoreditch is aiming to be the World's Most Ethical Pub

  

  What makes a pub, the world's most ethical pub? Well according to The Green Vic, which is opening in Shoreditch and billing itself as just that, it's "where everything you buy and use has a positive environmental and social impact."

  The pub is popping up for three months at Iron Bloom on Great Eastern Street. On their drinks list you'll find libations that, between them, support over 40 individual non-profit charities. So you can sup a pint of Brewgooder craft

• Cook Love at Dinerama sees the team behind Michelin-starred Pied a Terre take on street food

  

  Normally you'd expect to find start-ups using street food as a way to test their food. But a new restaurant hitting London's street food scene already has that expertise in spades. • Million Pound Menu winner Tiger Bites gets a residency in Shoreditch and a Deliveroo Kitchen slot

  

  Last night saw a new episode of Fred Sirieix's BBC show Million Pound Menu and London-based duo Scott & Lacey's Tiger Bites - serving up Asian fusion street food - came out top. And for their efforts, they won a slot at one of Deliveroo's kitchens. Which means that now, if you happen to live or work in East London, you can get their food delivered right to your door.
