Lina Stores

| Soho, Fitzrovia, Covent Garden

The original Lina Stores deli was open for 75 years in Soho, giving them plenty of time to get things right before opening this, their first restaurant. Counter dining on the ground floor allows you to see all the action - and the pasta, as you'd expect, is great.

"In an increasingly homogenised, sanitised Soho, Lina Stores feels like a throwback to its rackety past. I like it so much that, in a rare move, I go straight back. This time, I’m welcomed like a long-lost pal. " READ REVIEW

"The pasta is perfect. Pappardelle with rabbit ragu, rosemary and olives was a life-affirming mound; thin sheets of egg pasta flopping into themselves under nutty Parmesan shavings. It lost points for sauce, or rather lack of it. There was no rosemary or olives as advertised. Or indeed any ragu. Luckily, the morsels of rabbit were good quality, firm with a deep flavour and only a whisper of gaminess (sorry, vegan brigade)." READ REVIEW
