Park Chinois

Park Chinois

| Mayfair, Belgravia

Park Chinois plays homage to the opulence and decadence of 1930s Shanghai, with regional Chinese food and live entertainment. It's very OTT, but no less fun for all that.

"As much a signifier of seismic cultural shifts as it is an actual place to eat, Park Chinois is the You Me Dim Sum Train of immersive/experiential/theatrical dining; and on that basis, while you wouldn’t want to go every day, if you do go, trust me – it’s worth every damn yuan." READ REVIEW

"Having democratised Asian food with Wagamama, Yau has done the opposite with Park Chinois: this is unashamedly a niche proposition. Gracious, theatrical, preposterous, memorable –it's a special-occasion indulgence like no other. Faaabuuulous, indeed." READ REVIEW

"We sat down in a bubble of speechless hysteria. After the room, the food comes as an anticlimax. It just isn’t the point. How could it possibly compete with the decor?" READ REVIEW

"Then comes the duck, the skin buffed mahogany, boned and sliced, utterly sumptuous. And high style beyond imagining; we are each given a steamer basket of excellent pancakes, a plate of cucumber and spring onion and our own hoisin sauce. Plenty for four, this pricey bird becomes less than £20 a head." READ REVIEW
