Ollie Dabbous' Mayfair restaurant is a three storey affair consisting of a fine dining tasting menu upstairs with an all-day a la carte on the ground floor and a basement bar. It's pretty impressive looking.

"Heavenly menu notwithstanding, Hide is not for me. Not even for that mash. It’s dessert that crystallises the nagging impression I’ve been building. Intentional or not, it’s an incestuously close relative of the tipsy cake from Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner, another place that left me unmoved..." READ REVIEW

"It takes a special kind of genius to create a magnificent space like this and then to bring it alive with warmth and inclusivity from the off. Enabling guests to belong is such a powerful part of the DNA of great restaurants: I only had to glance at the mix of unself-conscious couples executing selfies, groups of young men, families, older couples, all of them smiling, to see that Hide had already succeeded." "Possibly my favourite course, white asparagus in a filthily good slick of salty hazelnut praline, left me quite hair-tossingly ecstatic. But if you’d been on the number 19 bus heading to Piccadilly, you probably know this already. For a restaurant with five private dining rooms, there are very few places to hide." READ REVIEW

"Hide is like a handsome friend who has inherited impossible wealth and lives a charmed life, but who is so completely lovely that you cannot resent him. Don’t overthink it. Dabbous is knocking out his most fabulous five-star food yet. Go before that waiting list grows." READ REVIEW

"This is a rare example of a chef at the height of his powers teaming up with wine connoisseur backers who have very deep pockets. In this case, it’s a marriage made in heaven: brilliant food, fantastic wine list curated by expert staff, and a location in Mayfair that will ensure regular patronage by those who can afford it."
