Bob Bob Cite

| The City

This is the second restaurant from Leonid Shutov - who brought us the wonderful Bob Bob Ricard. His City restaurant has been a long time in the making, and the £25 mil spent on it really shows. Expect opulence - and the press for Champagne buttons too.

"Bob Bob Cité may be a snooty Instagram backdrop for oyster-fuelled flexing but it floods you with a delirious wave of giddying little details. Though it takes its cues from the luxuriousness of old-fashioned travel, it already has the unmistakable sheen of a true destination." READ REVIEW

"I’m not sure how much the Krug-swilling party boys this place will need to pay off the £25 million are going to appreciate the devotion that has gone into Eric’s menu and into every plateful he sends out. But for the rest of us, Bob Bob Cité will be as good a place as any to sit and watch the world end – especially if it ends before they bring the bill." READ REVIEW

"I must stress that Bob Bob Cité is more than a triumph of posh hand soap, imported lampshades and over-delicious food. What Shutov’s eccentric dreamscape needed was a base of solid French cooking, and though Chavot’s relatively short menu is rife with Gallic glamour, you will be fed. You won’t leave hungry – bankrupt, perhaps, but not hungry." READ REVIEW

"It’s been a long time since the City was considered the poor-man of the London dining scene, but it has been lacking the kind of destination restaurant that really makes your jaw flap, a place you can imagine a famous sportsman getting someone pregnant in the loos. Bob Bob Cité is that restaurant. It’s mad as a bag of snake-eye rivets, and there’s nowhere in the Square Mile I’d rather eat." READ REVIEW
