Sushi Tetsu

Sushi Tetsu

Japanese | Shoreditch, Clerkenwell

The tiny Sushi Tetsu is both one of the best sushi restaurants in town and also one of the hardest to get into. With only half a dozen seats inside, each item served to you will be almost a work of art. This may well ruin other sushi restaurants for you...

"With an intimate atmosphere and well-sourced fish, Sushi Tetsu wouldn't be out of place in modern-day Tokyo. It's definitely worth a visit for a quality, if pricy, London sushi experience." READ REVIEW

"...when the good stuff comes along, you just know it. There are cheaper places to eat sushi in London, and there are noisier, hipper places too. But right now I honestly don't believe there is any better place." READ REVIEW

"On a procession of superbly prepared bits and bobs there are some real highlights, including the sea bream, the horse mackerel, turbot (with plum sauce) and some of the very best fatty tuna in London, but the overriding impression is that the fish is left relatively naked, especially in comparison to other spots in town - something that illustrates the confidence in the quality of the fish."
