"I should probably mention the food. It’s so easy to get distracted by all of this jolly, precisely orchestrated chaos. Yer actual dinner in places like Gloria is usually where things tend to fall apart. But, confoundingly, everything we had was really good, if not downright delicious." READ REVIEW

"I don’t know if this is what Capri in the Fifties — the PR shorthand for Gloria’s look — was like. With swirling marble surfaces, a mirrored bar stretching to the ceiling, a wine room devoted to Barolo, peachy lace lampshades, stripy chintz sofas, explosions of flowers and greenery and one-way mirrors for the ladies lavatory doors, it feels pleasantly deranged."
