Restaurant Reviews
42 North Audley Street, Mayfair, London W1K 6ZR
Bibi comes from chef Chet Sharma, previously at big name restaurants Moor Hall and L'Enclume and then Group Development Chef at JKS (Gymkhana). This time, he's in charge of his own kitchen at this Mayfair Indian restaurant. It takes its influences from across India "from roadside cafés from Punjab in the north, to Kerala in the south."
40-41 Rathbone Pl, Fitzrovia, London W1T 1HX
The Big Mamma Group's second opening in London saw them hit up Fitzrovia with a massively OTT slice of Mediterranean charm and flavour. It's extremely popular with a stunning looking room.
Unit 1A, 3 Ravine Way Embassy Gardens, London SW11 7BH
Evernight comes from Lynus Lim, a Singaporean chef who trained up under Tom Anglesea at the Laughing Heart. It's inspired by Japanese izakayas, using mostly produce local to the UK. Here you'll find a big emphasis on low intervention wine too.
53 Park Lane, London W1K
The Dorchester's modern take on the classic British grill restaurant is headed up by chef Tom Booton, whose name is now above the door. He trained under Alyn Williams and is the grill's youngest-ever chef. Expect classic dishes with a modern twist from breakfast through to dinner and make sure to save space for the excellent desserts.
