Berberè Camden

300 Kentish Town Road, London NW5 2TG

Berberè is the UK outpost of an award-winning pizzeria that has locations across Italy. They're best known for their "living" sourdough pizzas, proofed over 24 hours. They serve up the classics, as well as their own takes like a smoked margherita pizza.

The Georgian

Fourth Floor, Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London SW1X 7XL

After a big makeover, this Grade II listed restaurant inside Harrods returned glammer than ever. During the day it's the place to come for afternoon tea while in the evening, top chef Calum Franklin is in charge of the menu. The big draws on the classic menu are both the pies and paté en croute, both of which Franklin is renowned for. The Georgian pie experience is the one to go for and there's a great performance from their piano player, right at the centre of the chandelier-covered room.

Godet

382 Essex Rd, London N1 3PF

Sharing an owner with popular Hackney wine bar Binch, Sylvain Bertozzi, this Essex Road boozer has had a very modern makeover, adding in space for a DJ and an expansive wine offering. Currently, the food side of things is run by Perkd Up Burgers. Keep an eye on their Instagram for news of a regular programme of wine events.

Canteen

310 Portobello Road, London W10 5TA

This Italian restaurant in Notting Hill comes from the same team behind pub hits The Pelican and The Hero. Here, they brought in two ex-River Cafe chefs to create a classic Italian menu that's going down very well with the locals.
