As our regular readers will know, we're big fans of Bob Bob Ricard. Following on from their recent foray into Saturday lunches, they've now expanded to offer the Bob Bob Ricard Sunday lunch.
Now, everything's a little bit more special at BBR, and the Sunday lunch is no exception. While the main lunchtime menu is available, it's the "Traditional Roast" that you'll want to make a trip to Soho on a Sunday for. Order this and you'll get a decent 16oz portion of USDA prime Black Angus with a particularly fine Yorkshire pudding. This comes with slow-roasted potato (which avoids out normal compaint that we can cook roast potatoes better than any restaurant manages) plus carrots and parsnips roasted in beef dripping, honey and thyme and some lovely truffle gravy on the side.
It's a wonderful Sunday lunch - one of the best we've had in a while and the rest of the menu, which you can see in the gallery below, is still very good (dulce de leche creme brulee is highly recommended). And yes, we pressed for champagne. Obviously.
The Sunday Roast is on the menu every Sunday at £29.50 per person at Bob Bob Ricard at 1 Upper James Street, Soho, London W1F 9DF. Find out more about Bob Bob Ricard.
Hot Dinners were invited to Bob Bob Ricard. Prices are correct at the time of writing.
