Sabor's new Sabor En Casa service is delivering croquetas, tortilla and more to your door

Some London restaurants will clearly need more time to prepare for reopening, particularly when so much of their offering includes counter dining which falls way short of even the new 1m plus rule.

But while they work out their plans some, like Mayfair's Sabor, have ploughed ahead with offerings to bring their restaurants to your home instead.

We've been having serious pangs for the dishes from N…

Brat is back in three flavours - a residency at Climpson's Arch, a take-home box and the original restaurant too

We've been without Tomos Parry's excellent Brat restaurant for a few months - but now it's returning in not one but three different incarnations.

First up is the Brat x Climpson’s Arch residency which sees Parry going back to his roots as he had previously been in the kitchen there from 2013-2015. Brat will be there all summer long and alongside some Brat signatures (we're assumin…

Chicama on the King's Road opens early for

Yesterday the government announced the reopening date for London's restaurants. But it seems that some aren't waiting that long. In town last week we spotted a few restaurants doing 'takeaway' that essentially involved eating at the restaurant's tables outside. And now a restaurant on the King's Road has opened its terrace for dining.

Chicama emailed its customers last week to say they were reope…

Knoops are bringing amazing hot chocolate, milkshakes and more to Clapham and High Street Ken

Yet another London store which blossomed all too briefly in the weeks before lockdown closed it was Knoops - a hot chocolate shop at Clapham Junction. The original one, which opened in Rye back in 2013 had built up quite the fanbase for its continental hot chocolates.

And this isn't just any old chocolate drink - the chocolate used ranges from 28% up to 100% cocoa and you'll find a mix of single…

A Parsi meal feast is being delivered by St John chef Farokh Talati

In normal times (which we're very slowly heading back to) Farokh Talati, head chef of St John Bread and Wine, hosts a monthly Parsi feast at Maison Bertaux. If you're unfamiliar with the cuisine, it's one of the world’s most ancient, combining Persian and Indian influences.

Those feasts are on hold for now - but that doesn't mean you have to miss out. Teaming up with the Dishpatch deli…

Michelin-starred Kitchen Table reinvents itself as a deli

Yesterday's announcement by the government that restaurants could reopen was welcome news to many. But not all restaurants fit even the 1m plus rule. One such place is Kitchen Table. The two Michelin-starred restaurant in Fitzrovia is all about the counter dining experience - and that's clearly going to take them a little longer to work out how to reopen safely.

So what does one of London's top r…

Ace Pizza launches out of Hackney's Pembury Tavern

Before lockdown, the Pembury Tavern in Hackney had built up quite the reputation for its pizzas. Now, they're back and post-lockdown are launching as their own delivery pizza brand, Ace Pizza. It'll still be based in the pub, but the menu has been given something of an overhaul while the team have been away.

40ft Brewery to celebrate reopening in Dalston with a 6ft beer

While we're obviously very excited that restaurants are about to reopen, we're also just as giddy about the pubs, bars and taprooms returning across the city. And one of our favourites of the latter is definitely 40ft Brewery in Dalston. They're not only reopening their outside space, but they're also introducing a new drink to emphasise the required social distancing.

The 6FT is descr…
