Il Borro Italian restaurant is replacing Nobu Berkeley Street

Rumours hit last week of a potential closure of Nobu Berkeley Street - and this week they've been confirmed. The restaurant is to close soon, to be replaced by a new high-end Italian restaurant Il Borro.

Happy comes to London, taking over the old TGI Fridays Piccadilly space

 

There's a new restaurant opening in the place of the big ex-TGI Friday's site in Piccadilly - it's Bulgarian chain Happy. They were set up in 1994, have 20 restaurants in Bulgaria and two more in Barcelona

Northern Thai restaurant Talad pops up in Chelsea
