(Updated 4/2/13 with opening details)
Having had recent success on the South Bank with their Summer Shack, Yalla Yalla are jumping back into the pop-up business. Their new al-fresco shack is taking up position in Shoreditch for six months.
While it'll mean eating outside in wintery weather (to start with) there will be plenty of heaters to warm up proceedings, seating for up to 40 people and entertainment each weekend (belly dancers and DJs are planned).
Food-wise you can expect Yalla Yalla's lebanese cuisine in the form of lots of hot mezze like Man’ouché Lahmé (oven‐baked flat pastry topped with spiced minced lamb, tomato, onion and pomegranate molasses) as well as lamb or chicken shawarma and more. There will also be Lebanese pastries to eat onsite or to take away.
There will be Lebanese wine and beer available plus Yalla Yalla's signature cocktails like Yalla Baby Yalla (vodka, Midori, apricot brandy, fresh melon, apple, mint and ginger) or Berry Dance Martini (vodka, Cointreau, Chambord liqueur, strawberries, raspberries and cranberry juice).
And if you can't tear yourself away from your desk, then theres always the Yalla Yalla bicycle delivery service if you call on 07725 841372 between noon - 3pm on weekdays.
The pop-up launches on February 5th. It will be open 11am - midnight from Monday to Saturday and 11am-10pm on Sunday at 186 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6HU.
