The good luck of those who work or live in the Victora area continues with news of the latest opening at the Nova development. Timmy Green is the latest from the Aussie indie chain and it sounds like it's going to be a go-to place for brunch. Hot on our list of dishes to try is the bacon roll with The Ribman's Holy F*ck hollandaise sauce and banana bread sandwich with mascarpone, berries, honey and almonds.
For lunch and dinner the menu will focus on prime grass-fed meats and small plates. There'll be a massive side of prime lamb, barbecued on the Josper and carved tableside which comes with miso mustard sauce and hand cut triple cooked duck fat fries, a popcorn shrimp sandwich and a rather lovely sounding Daisy garden of house made dips with sticky sesame radishes.
It's a large venue for the chain with room for 150 diners over two floors. There's also going to be an alfresco coffee bar and plenty of outdoor seating.
As for drinks, they'll be mixing up a large local craft beer list with an almost all Australian natural wine list and some cocktails too.
Timmy Green opens at Nova Victoria, 11 Sir Simon Milton Square, London SW1E 5DJ in January 2017. Opening hours will be seven days a week from 7am until late. Keep up with their news on Twitter @daisygreenfood
