There are a couple of rather interesting events taking place at Noble Rot's wine bar over the coming months and you're the first to know about it. Given their dinners can sell out in hours, this is A Good Thing.

They're starting with the first in a series of guest chef dinners with the bar's consultant chef Stephen Harris taking over the stoves for one night only for an evening of fine Sportsman-style cooking. So if you've never made the trip to Kent, this would be a good start.

Next up there's a Thrill Seekers Feast part 2 - a communal set dinner menu by Fergus Henderson (pictured above) and wine matches from St. John’s Trevor Gulliver and The Rotters.

Finally, how about a Legends of the Northern Rhône Wine Dinner? For this, Noble Rot has compiled a stellar line up of rare wines from Condrieu, Cornas and Côte-Rôtie’s finest producers. They'll be pairing these at an informal dinner with the following menu:

Champagne on arrival
Amuse Bouche

Château-Grillet 2013, Georges Vernay Condrieu Côteau de Vernon 2013
Scallops with spiced butter

Château-Grillet 1989, Château-Grillet 1990, Georges Vernay Condrieu Côteau de Vernon 1990
Pork and foie gras terrine

Nöel Verset Cornas 1991, Thierry Allemand Cornas Reynard 1991, Auguste Clape Cornas 1991
Wild rabbit pie

Jean-Paul Jamet Côte-Rôtie 1995, Rene Rostaing Côte-Rôtie La Landonne 1991
