London's current love of high-rise dining is certainly not on the wane. Not only do we have several new restaurants incoming (particularly from 20 Fenchurch Street) but now somewhere that has previously only been open as a private club is now opening to the public for the summer.
Right at the top of one of London's most recognisable buildings, the Gherkin, The Searcy's Restaurant and Bar takes up the top three floors of the building for a pretty impressive panoramic view. If you haven't been able to wangle an invite up here before, they're putting on a special 10th anniversary 10 course tasting menu at £70 - as well as a 3 course a la carte (£35 at lunch, £45 at dinner) and a Sunday brunch menu. That brunch session will also have a Bloody Mary station, where you can mix up your own perfect Bloody Mary.
Searcy's at the Gherkin is at 30 St Mary Axe, London, EC3A 8EP and open to the public from 21st July to the 4th September. You can book now on 020 7071 5025 or visit their website.
