Looking for a supperclub with a difference? Last week, a new supperclub launched at Koffmann's in the Berkley hotel - hosted by none other than Pierre Koffmann himself.
He and his partner Claire Harrison will be hosting regular events throughout the year in the private dining room at Koffmann's restaurant in the Berkeley hotel. The five course tasting menu will be built around seasonal ingredients and each course will be introduced by chef himself, explaining to fellow diners where the inspiration for the dish came. It'll all be matched with wine from the restaurant's sommelier and comes in at £110 a head - not bad for a meal with one of the best chefs in London. The next one's on 28 June and you can find out more at Koffmann's website.
And if the unseasonably hot Bank Holiday weather has got you craving for the Beach - you'll soon be able to stroll down the sand on the South Bank courtesy of Dishoom. The popular Covent Garden Bombay Cafe is opening an outpost along the South Bank of the Thames for the Summer. Taking its inspiration from Bombay's Chowpatty Beach there'll be a selection of Dishoom's best food and drink (including the bacon naan roll). If you're in the area, it's being built at the moment and will open for business on May 13. For more details, visit the Dishoom website.
