We can't begin to tell you how much money we'd need to spend our evening with complete strangers in a hot tub sipping cocktails in our swimming cossies. But, on the offchance that some Hot Dinners readers will think "Hey that sounds right up my street", here's what you need to know about Supper Tub.
As the name suggests, it's a hot tub popup taking place in Hackney. Either book a tub for you and 7 mates or take pot luck with a pair of tickets. Then you get to soak by the canal in the tub whilst being served iced Pisco sours and ceviche canapés.
Sample dishes we've been told about are from a canapé menu presented tub-side on skewers. They're priced at £4 - £6 each for a small plates of skewers and all centre on South American flavours. So there's fresh fish ceviche, marinated steak, and desserts made using fresh Peruvian fruits and chocolate.
seabass ceviche, marinaded steak with halloumi and mango and lime dressing and chocolate brownie to finish with physalis topped with lucuma creme.
Tickets cost £50 a pair which includes two hours in a tub, a frozen Pisco sour and 3 rounds of canapés.
Supper Tub will be open from 3 July for a month on every Thursday, Friday, Saturday at Bar 90, 90 Wallis Rd, London, E9 5LN. Keep up with their news on Twitter @suppertub
