Stuff We Liked - croissant cupcakes, Scotch Whisky, cheese hampers and more...

It's time again for another round of Stuff We Liked - a general round up of the things we've been talking about on TwitterInstagram, facebook and more. This week we got a couple of packed boxes from Cardhu and Brindisa and we LOVED the croissant cupcakes from Lola's.

Lola's cupcakes have just brought in a new twist on baked goods. Their cupcake croissants are in store now and they sent us a basket to inhale/test for them. The jam and custard ones were our favourite, but hell ANY of these would be a good kickstart to the day.

Brindisa have just started selling boxes of specialist, tricky to get hold of artisan Spanish cheeses. We tried both boxes - a Classic Selection (£45) with an amazingly stinky Canarejal Cremoso that used to be served at El Bulli (don't bring it on public transport is all we can say), and the Shepherds' cheese selection £35. They come in a beautiful presentation box complete with membrillo and would make a great gift or a good buy for a dinner party.

Wonderfully stinky box of @brindisa cheese has just arrived.

Cardhu Gold is the newest whisky to come out of the Speyside distillery. At their launch at Ramusake the other week they gave us one of their Golden Moments gift sets to take away with bars of gold veined chocolate from The Robin Collective, a Figue Noire candle from perfumer Angela Flanders, a bottle of the whiskey, two balloon glasses, and a hosting booklet containing cocktail recipes by Andrea Montague.

Time for a glass of this. #sundaytipple

Vivek Singh's highly regarded Cinnamon Kitchen has just launched a new range of cook-at-home sauces, Cinnamon at Home. They're now available at Waitrose.

Fittata is a new delivery company bringing healthy frittatas (baked, not fried) to your office for between £6-£7. We tried a range of their weekly changing menus and salads and were blown away by how good everything tasted. Why wait till January to start a healthy diet?

There'd be a lot fewer hangovers during Christmas if Square Meal's canapies were served at parties. They went over a selection of the party sized pies to try including a new Bourbon BBQ beef version. Our verdict - great stomach-lining food for the festive season.
