As part of the Season's Eatings event which runs in Selfridges tomorrow, the new St John bakery there is launching something new that will be worth popping down for alone - rarebit toasties. And there's even a bacon rarebit toastie too.
As put by Fergus Henderson (who will be there signing books from 4-6pm) "One lonely welsh rarebit met another and became lovers, this union marked the birth of the rarebit toastie - a culinary must-try, toasted on all sides, with delicious molten cheese, spicy! Watch out for the ooze factor."
