It was perhaps one of the longest pop-ups in London's restaurant history, but two years after opening its doors, Roganic will finally close this June.
Chef-proprietor Simon Rogan announced today that the Marylebone restaurant will close its doors on Thursday 20th June 2013. And despite rumours to the contrary, there is no replacement London restaurant in the pipeline for the foreseeable future.
Seems like Rogan has his hands busy with his new opening The French at The Midland Hotel in Manchester and its follow-up (also at the hotel) Mr Cooper's which will open this summer. He's also overseeing the temporary move of L'Enclume out of its current building and into Rogan & Co for the month of June while the Cumbrian restaurant is refurbished.
Reservations are being taken at Roganic on 020-7486 0380 for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday until the final dinner service on 20 June 2013.
