Since April this year, Shoryu Ramen - who already have a popular Ramen joint on Regent Street - have had a separate pop-up on Denman Street in Soho that's been paving the way for the opening of their new permanent Soho Restaurant.
Now the new opening is nearly here. Taking up twice the space of the pop-up, the new site will offer the full range of Ramen that's available at the original Regent Street branch. This includes Wasabi, Piri Piri and their signature Shoryu version (a tonkotsu & miso broth with added spinach) as well as sushi, sashimi and starters.
In addition to this, the Soho branch will also have "Europe’s biggest selection of authentic Japanese sakes" - with over 120 different sakes on the menu. Varieties will include Tatenokawa Nakatori - milled to an 18% of its original size, Myokosan – an award winning honjozo sake, Hana Houhoushu – a sparkling sake infused with rose petal and hibiscus and Gekkeikan Kirei Umeshu – an umeshi plum wine made with added collagen.
Shoryu Soho will throw open the doors to the larger, permanent restaurant on July 12 at 3 Denman Street, London W1D 7HA. Follow them on follow them on Twitter for more information.
