See, try and taste everything chocolate related at 2016's The Chocolate Show in London

Hold everything! If you're the kind of person who agonises over what chocolates to pick up at Rococo or thought the idea of the Cafe Royal opening a bar devoted to dessert was the best thing you've heard all year, then you need to clear your diary next weekend.

The Chocolate Show is three days of cocoa-related marvels taking place in London from 14-16 October. If you want to see some of the country's best chocolatiers at work, make your own chocolate or watch a fashion show where the clothes are made of chocolate, then you'll be in heaven.

Held at Olympia, it's the UK’s largest chocolate show. And there's going to be a lot to see, try and taste.

We're particularly taken with the idea of a small plates bar hosted by Adam Rawson, former chef at Pachamama and Hibiscus. He'll be serving up food where every dish features chocolate - think Beef, Chocolate and BBQ sauce sliders, Crispy Cauliflower with Pecan Mole and Smoked Yoghurt and Dark Baked Chocolate with Liquid Gold.

If you're after something more traditional - book in for afternoon tea by Paul a Young and The Intercontinental Park Lane where the £14 menu includes brown sugar scones with sea salted caramel.

On the main stage, there'll be top line-up of chefs on all weekend including;

  • Vivek Singh of The Cinnamon Club
  • Aneesh Popat, The Chocolatier
  • Sarah Barber, Executive Pastry Chef at Café Royal
  • Cherish Finden, judge on the BBC’s Great British Bake Off: Crème de la Crème
  • Chantal Coady, founder of Rococo Chocolates
  • Paul A Young, chocolatier
  • Mark Tilling, winner of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off: Crème de la Crème
  • Edd Kimber, winner of the first ever Great British Bake Off

If you want to get stuck in yourself Hotel Chocolat will be bringing their School of Chocolate to The Chocolate Show. Make your own bean to bar chocolate or even try your hand at chocolate sculptures.
