Sabrina Ghayour pops up for a dinner at Wahleeah

Called the “Golden girl of Persian cookery” by the Observer, Persian and Middle Eastern Chef Sabrina Ghayour has just announced her one and only 2015 pop up since ending her successful four year run of Sabrina’s Kitchen Supperclubs in May this year. She will return to the stoves for a very special one-off dinner at Wahleeah in London SW6 on Monday 30th November, as part of Wahleeah’s ‘Monday Night Takeover’ dinners.

Why Wahleeah? Well it turns out that the very first pop up that Sabrina ever did back in  2011 was with Wahleeah's Head Chef Dave Ahern at his then-kitchen at The Alexandra in Wimbledon.

“Returning to join Dave in the kitchen feels like the natural thing to do… He gave me a chance and was good to me when nobody knew me… He is a great friend and I can’t wait to get behind the stoves with him again,” says Ghayour.

Expect dishes like lamb and apricot lollipops, spiced chicken tagine, baked feta and more of Ghayour’s exciting flavours. The menu is priced at £40.00 which cost the same as Sabrina’s supperclub dinners. “I wanted to make it accessible and affordable for people, this was just a reason to get back into the kitchen and feed people again. I missed cooking for people and anyone that knows me, knows they are in for the feeding of their life, Sabrina style”

Tickets for the Sabrina Ghayour pop-up on 30 November 2015 can be booked here. Places are limited. Wahleeah is at 18 Farm Lane, London SW6 1PP. Keep up with Sabrina on Twitter @SabrinaGhayour and find out more about Wahleeah at @wahleeahsw6.
