If you're after dinner and a show, we can heartily recommend booking for Rumble in the Jungle - an evening where fisticuffs and food come together. This charity event for Galvin Chance, which helps young people find work in the restaurant industry, features chefs, front of house and othe foodies getting in the ring to knock seven bells out of each other. It all takes place at the rather refined RAC Club on Pall Mall.
Boxers on the night (20 September 2012) will include: Michel Roux protege Monica Galetti and Galvin's Maitre D' Fred Sirieix as well as Bar Boulud's Dean Yasharian and his fellow chefs Francesco Mazzei and Marcus Wareing.
There's going to be a fantastic "food court" provided by some incredible chefs including Raymond Blanc, Michel Roux Jr, Chris & Jeff Galvin, Daniel Boulud, Brett Graham and Philip Corrick (The Royal Automobile Club).
Tickets, which include a champagne reception, range from a standing ticket of £100 to a ringside table of four people for £1000. But there are just 300 places in total, so book soon by calling 0207 605 7733.
