Richard Corrigan to open Bentley's Sea Grill in Harrods

Richard Corrigan to open Bentley's Sea Grill in Harrod'sHarrods has been having something of a revolution with its restaurants this year. We've already seen the Galvins opening Galvin Demoiselle earlier this year, along with both Pan Chai and the Mango Tree. Now Richard Corrigan's joining them with a brand new Bentley's, his first new UK opening since Corrigan's in Mayfair. Like Galvin Desmoiselle before it, the Bentley's Sea Grill will be setting up shop in the Harrods' Food Hall.

Much like the original Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill (the Piccadilly spot founded in 1916 and relaunched by Corrigan in 2005), the Sea Grill is very much a fishy affair. First off, there's a a dedicated seafood cocktail section with dressed crab or lobster, melon and cucumber. Next up are selections from the grill, which will include wild salmon, wild sea bass, John Dory or Dover Sole among others, served with a choice of sauces. The menu will also feature one of Corrigan's signature dishes, the Bentley’s classic Royal fish pie. And finally, desserts will include dark chocolate mousse and crème brulée while wines will focus on the Old World.

Of the link up between Harrods and Bentley's, Corrigan himself says "These are two iconic brands, which hold a shared vision of fantastic food and brilliant service. It really is Britishness at its best."

The Bentley's Sea Grill will open in the Harrods Food Hall on July 26.
