Richard Corrigan and Darina Allen booked for Selfridges' Delicious Ireland event

irish cheeseA range of top chefs (and world-famous cooks) will be heading to London next month for a special event to celebrate the best of Irish food. Selfridges is putting on the three week Delicious Ireland from 10th to 29th April turning their famous Food Hall into a home away from home for 50 of Ireland’s finest artisan producers.

Chefs turning up to host cookery demonstrations will include London-based chef Richard Corrigan, Saturday Kitchen favourite, Kevin Dundon, Ross Lewis of the Michelin-starred Dublin restaurant Chapter One (who incidentally cooked for the Queen during her recent visit to Ireland) and Darina Allen of the Ballymaloe cookery school and restaurant.

Grazer-shoppers will be pleased to note there'll also be plenty of tastings of foods such as Cashel Blue from Tipperary, and Gubbeen from West Cork, organic Irish Hot Smoked salmon from the Burren Smokehouse, raw-milk butter from Ballymore Farm and Skelligs’ handmade strawberry and champagne truffles over the course of the event.
