RIBA's Design Bites tours kick off with Arsenal's Emirates, Dock Kitchen and Inamo

designbitesWhether you're a die-hard Gooner or not, the chance to see inside the posh members-only bit of Emirates Stadium and have canapes overlooking the pitch sounds like fun. The opportunity is part of a series of Design Bites tours being launched by RIBA where designers and chefs give guided tours of restaurants shortlisted for this year's Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

There are three restaurants offering tours, Stevie Parle's Dock Kitchen, Inamo St James and the WM Club at Emirates Stadium. At The Dock Kitchen top designer Tom Dixon will talk guests through his design for the restuarant and Portobello Dock while STevie Parle will serve up drinks and samples from the menu.

The tour at Inamo St James, will be co-led by architect John Macaulay, restaurateur Noel Hunwick and Head Chef Sebastian Francis. Drinks and samples from the menu will be served in the bar area adn there's a special £25 menu on offer for Design Bites guests.

The last event at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium will offer access to the exclusive WM club in the heart of the stadium which is restricted to 252 members. Guests will be shown round its two exclusive restaurants, bar and lounge by designer Jon Lee and Ben Kensell of Arsenal FC with canapes overlooking the pitch.
