January's always such a damp squib of a month. Everyone's off the sauce and determined to make the most of their new gym membership. But it doesn't have to be that way. We hear Raymond Blanc is headed into town for a special evening at Texture restaurant on Tuesday 17th January 2012.
Blanc will be in the kitchen reproducing some of his classic dishes from Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons with Texture’s chef and co-owner Aggi Sverrisson cooking alongside him. The evening kicks off with a Champagne reception in the Texture bar at 7pm, followed by a seven-course tasting menu especially created by Raymond and Aggi with each course accompanied by wines chosen by Master Sommelier and Texture co-owner Xavier Rousset.
Yes, tickets are on the pricey side at £195 per head but on the bright side they do include a seven-course menu, wines, mineral water, coffee and petit fours. Better still, get someone who loves you very much (or owes you big time) to buy it for you for Christmas.
