We've already had Scotch egg challenges, Burger Bash face-offs, and Mince Pie Projects. Now the next face-off is incoming as a collection of chefs get ready to serve up the best pork pie possible.
The Princess Victoria Pork Pie Off takes place at the Princess Victoria in Shepherd's Bush on 3rd March with Matt Reuther (Princess Victoria), Peter Weeden (Newman Street Tavern), Dominic Chapman (The Royal Oak, Parley Street), and TV’s Andy Bates (‘The Pie Man’), Paul Merrett (The Victoria, East Sheen) Nick Galer (The Crown) and Adam Simmonds (formerly Danesfield House) all taking part.
Tickets for the event are £10 (with all proceeds going to Action against Hunger). You'll be able to try the 20 pies in question with complimentary craft beer and watch judges Joe Warwick (Metro), Tom Parker Bowles and Christine Hayes (Olive) stuff their faces as they look to pick a winner.
Tickets are available to buy online now. The Pork Pie off is at The Princess Victoria at 217 Uxbridge Rd, London W12 9DH on March 3rd.
