Pont de la Tour puts on Paul Bocuse dinner for 20th birthday celebrations

Pont de la Tour puts on Paul Bocuse dinner for 20th birthday celebrationsTickets have just gone on sale for an amazing one-night-only dinner that will allow London diners to enjoy the cuisine from Lyon's legendary Paul Bocuse restaurant without having to leave the city.

As a celebration of its 20th birthday, riverside restaurant Le Pont de la Tour will be hosting senior chefs from the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon on 11 October 2011 for a very special dinner. The French team will cook alongside Le Pont de la Tour's existing team (together with new exec chef Tom Cook who's joining the restaurant from Tom Aikens) to serve up signature dishes from the three Michelin starred Restaurant Paul Bocuse with matching wines paired by Le Pont de la Tour’s Master Sommelier Nicolas Clerc.

The menu will include Soupe VGE, originally served in 1975 for President Valerie Giscard D’Estaing when Chef Bocuse received La Legion D’Honneur; Volailles de Bresse aux Morilles and Baba au Rhum. Tickets cost £110 per head and can be booked on www.lepontdelatour.co.uk or by calling 020 7403 8403.

If you're not able to secure one of the tickets for the dinner, the good news is you'll be able to try highlights from it in a special set menu being served up at Le Pont de la Tour until the end of October.
