If you're the kind of person who would rather experience all the fun of a festival with the attendant luxury of the glamping village complete with VIP loos, then the Pingtron pop-up could be for you. Described as an 'experiential bar/restaurant and ping pong hangout' it's sited in the rather more comfy surroundings of the Notting Hill Brasserie rather than a Peckham carpark.
For seven non-consecutive nights a rotation of West London chefs such as Boom Burger and Snr Ceviche will be serving up food while bespoke cocktails will be mixed up by the Rum Runner. Once dinner is over at there'll be tunes courtesy of some popular local DJs. And if all that isn't enough to lure you west there's also PingTron - a UV ping pong installation - which you may have seen at The Secret Garden party, Bestival or Secret Cinema this year.
PingTron Pop Up is at Notting Hill Brasserie, 92 Kensington Park Road, London W11 2PN from Thursday 13th to Saturday 22nd December. Hours are Wed-Friday from 6pm to midnight, from 11am to midnight on Saturdays and noon to 11pm on Sundays. Be aware that it's cash-only. To book call 07432 668 555 or email info@pingtron.com
