Oxo Tower Restaurant pop-up in Kent countryside

Taking a leaf from the American food movement Outstanding In The Field, Harvey Nichols restaurants across the UK will be taking diners out of the city and into the countryside to eat food where it's produced, on the farm.

The 'Handpicked by Harvey Nichols' event for London will have Jeremy Bloor, Head Chef at OXO Tower Restaurant, escorting Londoners to a dairy farm just outside Sevenoaks in Kent on Thursday 9 September to see how Winterdale Cheddar is made and to have lunch in the field. Local Kent grown produce will form the main ingredients for lunch, served on a big communal table.

The meal is priced at £75 per person which includes the site visit, meal and all drinks. To book a place go to the Oxo Tower restaurant website.
