As revealed by Bloomberg's Richard Vines on Twitter today, the folks behind uber-popular Terroirs (off the Strand) and Brawn (Columbia Road) are to open their third branch, this time venturing south of the river.
The new restaurant Soif (French for "thirst") will take over the space that's just been vacated by Giraffe on 27 Battersea Rise. It will, as with the other branches, have a focus on natural wines and well sourced produce. Given the success of its predecessors, expect this to be one of the big openings of the year.
A further outpost of Terroirs is still planned for St Martin's Lane early in 2012.
Soif is due to open in November and we'll put up more news as soon as we get it.
