It's been open less than a year, but Mayfair's Novikov is clearly getting into the London spirit with its decision to host a one-day pop-up event this summer.
The Mayfair restaurant - or more specifically its downstairs lounge - will be hosting a one day party at Waterside House in Royal Victoria Dock on July 27 to celebrate the start of a certain to remain nameless (lest the marketing secret police descend) sporting event. They'll be serving cocktails and champagne all day alongside various barbecue and grazing dishes. For those of you who can tear yourselves away from the bar, you'll also be able to watch the opening ceremony on big screens. And you'll be in prime position to watch what should be a damned fine fireworks display.
