Look away now, if you're on a January detox, because Mayfair's Mount Street Deli has just launched a range of dinner party desserts from Caprice Holdings restaurants. They join the deli's range of dishes you can order up to serve at home and either pretend they're your own fair work, or 'fess up and reveal to your guests they're eating at Le Caprice or J Sheekey tonight.
The puddings include Daphne's tiramisu, The Ivy seasonal fruit crumble with custard, Scott's Bramley apple pie with custard, the 34 vanilla cheesecake with mandarins and The Mount Street Deli's own lemon meringue tart. Each dish feeds six for £30 and there's also Annabel's famous Chocolate Cake available in small (£28), medium (£37) or large sizes (£60).
All you have to do is remember to place your order at least 24 hours in advance (by 10am the morning before). You can collect at the deli or have it delivered within W1 for free.
