From Broadstairs via Bahrain to Covent Garden - Morelli's Gelato opens its doors on the Piazza today. This is the company's first London standalone store (you can also find them in Harrods) and they'll be serving a whole array of freshly made gelato, not to mention own-blend Kilimanjaro coffee and Venetian Prosecco.
To celebrate their seasonal opening they've got two very Christmassy flavours on offer. Rudolph is a sweet and savoury gelato flavoured with - we kid you not - cranberries and reindeer. It was apparently made for a private customer's request and is a limited edition.
Slightly more traditional is the Stollen flavour which is a brandy gelato, studded with pieces of stollen, as well as vine fruits.
