Craft beer in the UK has come a very long way in the past few years. It's a movement that's already swept through the US but we've really seen steady improvements in London's pubs recently.
Now Meantime Brewery is celebrating the rise with a three day event called BrewFest at the Old Brewery in Greenwich. During the event there will be three bars showcasing beers from the UK, Europe and America with over 100 different beers on offer in total.
The event is free to enter and there will be food available at each of the bars for £4.80 each or one food token. The US will be offering chilli & corn chips, Europe will have Drei im Wickla (Nuremburg sausage & mustard in a bun) and the UK will be putting on pie, mash & liquor.
On hand throughout the event will be beer sommeliers to suggest the best food to pair with your favourite beers as well as some talks on the history of craft brewing.
BrewFest is at The Old Brewery, in the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on July 31st and August 3rd and 4th. Find out more on their website.
