Dalston pop-up hotspot Birthdays has just announced its latest residency, following previous Birthdays residencies from Crouch Hill’s Max’s to Le Bun and Little Ghost. This time they're teaming up with North London burger and croquette slingers Nanny Bill’s.
Most excitingly, it means another chance to try/binge on their mac & cheese croquettes, served with parmesan and priced at three for a fiver (though if you’re going for three, you may as well get six for £9…). If you prefer, try the every-so-slightly less sinful mint and feta variety served with a helping of sriracha mayo.
Those in need of something more substantial can pick from a pretty sizable burger menu. There’s eight to choose from, including the mustard-glazed Dalston Dip that's served with a pot of gravy, a spicy chicken burger dubbed The Hot Mess, and not one but *two* vegan options, made with black bean and quinoa patties. Seriously hungry sorts can double up with an extra patty for £3, or add on a single croquette for £1.50.
Round things off with a handful of sides, like halloumi nuggets, panko onion rings and sweet potato fries, and you should be primed and ready for your evening out, whether you’re heading downstairs to take in some music, or venturing out into the Dalston hinterland.
When: 14 September
Where: Birthdays Dalston, 33-35 Stoke Newington Rd, Stoke Newington, London N16 8BJ
