Clearly some people have never heard of the famous BBC April Fool's Day stunt involving spaghetti harvesting.
According to Eat Food magazine, the manager of a Italian restaurant in London came up with a wheeze to make his own spaghetti-strewn Christmas tree as a fun decoration. But Simone Falcon, manager of Rossopomodoro in Covent Garden was astonished to find members of the public making offers to buy what they believed to be a genuine pasta potplant. They've had six - count them - people offering to buy the tree in the restaurant window!
