Le Dauphin team are at London's Zetter Townhouse for one night only

zettertownhouseIn Good Company is the pop up night that started at Le Dauphin in Paris when London's Tony Conigliaro crossed the channel to bring his cocktail making skills to the Parisians. Now they're returning the favour by coming to London for one night only.

The night at The Zetter Townhouse on Monday April 8th will see Guillaume Rouxel (Le Dauphin's Head Chef) and Franck Audoux (Inaki Azpitarte's business parter at Le Chateaubriand - currently No 15 in the World's 50 Best just below the Ledbury - and Le Dauphin) back with Tony Conigliaro for a night pairing exceptional food and cocktails.

Why should Londoners be interested in chefs from Le Dauphin which the New York Times dubbed it a "major hub of gastro cool". We asked food and style writer Sophie Dening who knows Paris much better than we do. "Iñaki is self-taught, and brought rock 'n' roll insouciance to la bistronomie when he took over Le Châteaubriand in 2006," she told us. "Le Dauphin is natural wine, hip, nice snacks, glossier in style than Le Chateaubriand - both are always busy with cool staff."

What's perhaps even more interesting for the London crowd is that Bruno Loubet's also going to join them in the kitchen to prepare one course. And they say that course is likely to be a hint at the work he and Tony have been doing in preparation for their new Kings Cross venue, Grain Store opening in early June.

There are only a few places on offer for the evening which will be six courses with paired cocktails for £75. Proceedings kick off at 8pm on Monday, April 8th. For reservations please email ingoodcompany03@yahoo.com
