KERB replaces Eat Street at King's Cross as street food destination

KERB replaces Eat Street at King's Cross as street food destinationThe street food scene in London has exploded this year, with events all over the city giving Hungry Londoners the chance to graze from street food vans. One of the most successful of these was Eat Street, a rotating collection of the best trucks and vendors that set up behind the newly revamped King's Cross Station.

Now Eat Street is undergoing a makeover to become KERB - and they're holding a launch party to celebrate. At lunchtime on October 4 there will be a parade of some of London's best vans and trucks on Kings Boulevard. They'll then take the party up to the Canopy by Central St Martin's from 6-10pm, so if you can't get to King's Cross for lunch this is a perfect opportunity to try out the vans.

Traders will include Pizza Pilgrims, The Rib Man, Bleecker St Burger, You Doughnut, Yum Bun loads more. Plus there's a new addision to the site  - Healthy Yummies, which specialises in scallops.

KERB will then take up Eat Street's former residency, every Monday - Friday, 11am - 2.30pm.

And this isn't the last you'll hear of KERB - as they're currently looking at other sites to join the street food revolution.

The launch is at Central St Martins at King's Cross from 6-10pm on Thursday October 4. For the latest news on new traders and locations, keep an eye on the @kerb_ twitter feed and their website.
